Happy weekend, friends! I hope you are all having a great one so far. We’ve got plans to hit up the plant nursery if the weather holds out. It’s been rainy and gloomy the past several days, and some sunshine and plants sound like the perfect fix for all the dreariness. We’re starting work on the laundry room makeover today, and I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a bit nervous. It’s my first toe-dip back into DIY and design in quite some time. Wish me luck!
My mom, sister, and I made the rounds at Hobby Lobby, Kirkland’s, and Michael’s this week. I picked up a few items for a fun spring DIY I’ve got coming to the blog next week. Stay tuned!
On Tuesday, I shared our design plans for the laundry room makeover.
As I was perusing Instagram, I came across this floor-to-ceiling kitchen cabinet in this gorgeous kitchen. Isn’t it stunning? I’m crushing on the contrast of the stained wood against the white walls and dark painted cabinets. I fell down the Pinterest rabbit hole of kitchens and found a ton of other floor-to-ceiling cabinets that are giving me so much inspiration for when we eventually remodel our current kitchen.
I made this tomato and white bean soup for dinner recently and it’s quickly become a favorite. Served with a thick slice of buttered sourdough bread, and dinner is perfection.
Love this creative solution for a broken candle vessel.
I’m crushing on this diamond pattern trained jasmine vine. Isn’t it so lovely?
That’s all for this week, friends. I hope you all have a great weekend. See ya next week!
