Brass Sconces with Glass Shades for Any Budget

In my last post, I shared the design plan for the laundry room makeover we are working on. One of the most important updates to the space is a new light fixture.

I’m really digging antique brass right now, and thankfully it’s been making a comeback in home decor in recent years. For this small space, I chose an antique brass sconce with a glass shade. I love that the glass shade brings a different element to the mix. Another reason I decided on a sconce with a glass shade was because I felt that a clear shade would allow for maximum light distribution, as opposed to a solid shade that would direct light in only one direction.
