Hide the clutter while adding texture with these DIY burlap cabinet door curtains.

Welcome back to another Monthly DIY Challenge, friends! This month we teamed up with our sweet friend and fellow blogger, Carrie from Kenarry: Ideas for the Home, to share 12 different ways to use her gorgeous burlap ribbon! For this challenge, I chose to make some burlap cabinet door curtains.

As you can see from the photo below, my craft supplies are a bit unsightly hanging out behind the glass cabinets. To make matters worse, this hutch lives in the middle of the living room. I needed something to tackle all of that visual clutter.

Frosting the glass was an idea, but I didn’t want to commit to something permanent in case I ever decided to sell. I figured that some kind of fabric would be the perfect solution. When I saw Carrie’s burlap ribbon I knew it would be just the thing!

There aren’t any process photos because I literally just stapled the burlap to the back of the doors with a manual staple gun. I love how it turned out! Such a huge difference and it literally only took 15 minutes. This post contains affiliate links for your convenience. Click here to read my full disclosure policy.

The ribbon is 5 inches wide by 10 yards long. Two strips filled in the width of the glass area perfectly and I only needed about 4 yards to cover the length. So now I have plenty left to use on another fun project!

I love easy projects like this! So simple but such a huge impact.
